In line with its international growth, Liebherr’s venture into the United States began in 1970. Within a couple of years, the company expanded and completed its production facilities in Newport News, VA for its product line of hydraulic excavators. It was later converted into Liebherr’s manufacturing facility for mining trucks and remains home to Liebherr Mining Equipment Newport News, Co. In addition to its production facility, Liebherr markets a wide variety of products and technologies through its companies located across the United States. The companies are Liebherr- Aerospace Saline, Inc., Liebherr Gear Technology, Inc., Liebherr Automation Systems, Co., and Liebherr USA, Co., the umbrella company for eight divisions that are positioned across the United States.

Coordinates the buying of inventory from Affiliates / Third Parties and the sale of inventory through Direct Sales and to Dealers as well as assists in tracking and reporting on inventory or Liebherr USA, Co. - Construction Equipment Division.

Responsibilities

· Coordinates internal signatures for machine releases to customers and coordinates shipping locations with Traffic Department.
· Communicates with dealers the status of orders.
· Assists with the creation of the dealer price book.
· Maintains electronic and paper files of each machine as updates and changes occur.
· Checks Dealer orders for accuracy.
· Maintains item data in Baan.
· Assists with Sales Department Credits.
· Assists with updating reports such as the weekly Inventory Report and monthly Projected Inventory Report.
· Answers Dealer and Factory inquiries.
· Creates and maintains machine files.
· Assists with checking acknowledgements from factories.
· Creates approved Dealer sales orders in Baan.
· Invoices machines in Baan.
· Maintains information / data on deliveries to ensure accuracy of order.
· Assists in updating / maintaining the Status Report to ensure all references and dates for each machine are current.
· Backs-up the other Sales Administration Department positions as required.

Competencies

· A combination of related education and experience equivalent to an Associates degree and 2 years of experience.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Strong organizational and attention to detail, including accuracy with numbers.
· Demonstrates concern for the accuracy and quality of work. Takes steps to correct mistakes, and uses feedback to improve overall performance.

Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% of the time.

Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport.
