Liebherr-Mining Equipment Colmar SAS, basée à Colmar (France), est un leader mondial dans la fabrication de pelles hydrauliques de 100 à 800 tonnes et de camions diesel-électriques de 100 tonnes pour l'industrie minière.

He/she executes the global Liebherr Mining Digitalization Strategy to create value added digital products/ solutions/ services for our customers and enhancement of our Liebherr value chain.


· Participate in the group wide IoT platform evaluation and IoT software architecture design
· Analyze and design of Liebherr Mining specific IoT software applications. Participate in the LH Group wide IoT Lab in common with other divisions, ensure consideration of MIN requirements in the IoT group platform and functionalities
· Analyze and document customer / business requirements together with affected MIN stakeholders in order to identify new potentials / use cases supported through digital technologies
· Design and specify of end-to-end and secured digital use cases and IoT architecture with the project team. Derive and design IoT software architecture (data structures and flows, IT Integration to 3rd party tools e.g. ERP LN etc., Cloud and mobile computing etc.) with the goals of a cost efficient, maintainable and scalable Liebherr Mining IoT software architecture
· Plan and Ensure software tests & validation of implemented solutions
· Ensure user documentation & manuals and version updates
· Coordinate and validate software implementation from external suppliers


· Master of Science in computer science, Electronics, Engineering or comparable
· Minimum 7 years experience in the design and development of complex IT applications
· Fluent English. French and/or German of benefit
· Good understanding of manufacturing industry, processes and IT architectures e.g. ERP systems
· Strong background (3 years) in IoT platform architectures, deep knowledge of capabilities and restrictions of commercial IoT platforms and tools at least in three of the following domains: Device Connectivity, Edge and Cloud Computing, Big Data Analytics, IT Integration and automation and/or Artificial Intelligence
· Very good knowledge of agile software implementation methodologies and tools, software implementation skills would be an asset
· Experienced in working in interdisciplinary teams and in multi-cultural team environments
· Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into software
· Demonstrated capability in software/ architecture design and data modeling tools, Microsoft Office and PM related tools
· The position is located in Colmar, travelling 20-40%
