Job description

Urban Decay Cosmetics is seeking an energetic, sales-driven, Sales Executive-Events to join our team in FL.

A Sales Executive - Events drives event planning and executing to exceed budget by influencing sales team and store associates while cultivating strong account relationships.Sales Executive - Events works directly with Ulta store team to plan events that will increase retails results and improve communication and consistency.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

·  Ability to plan and execute events with retail partner to achieve desired sales results.

On a day-to-day basis, schedule calls with Ulta store teams to touch base, plan and coordinate future events as well as schedule trainings on booking techniques, best practices and the Urban Decay Experience. Coach sales team members and Ulta team members to be successful when planning and booking appointments for events.

·  Build and maintain store management relationships through consistent communication and store visits.

·  Work with Area Sales Manager - Events to set business priorities.As reflected in Outlook, manage time to ensure follow-through and call cycle.

·  On a weekly basis, review and analyze weekly sales goals to reinforce achievement by door compared to budget, last year and comp goals. Partner with Area Sales Manager - Events to establish a plan by door to achieve/ exceed budget.

·  Lead by example and motivate others to stage dive while taking appointments at events and during master classes, teach on trend artistry skills, and provide the “Urban Decay Experience” to each Ulta guest.

·  Meet deadlines for all requests including, but not limited to: calendars, expense reports and event recaps.

·  Communicate fact-based human resource concerns and issues to the Area Sales Manager in a timely manner and follow through as agreed.

ULTA

· 
Calendar schedules are set 2 months in advance and reflected in Outlook.

· 
Ensure doors are trained every quarter by you or your team, introducing the UD Ulta training Prestige Continued Education.

· 
Emulate the selling techniques from the UD Ulta training Prestige Continued Education when working in-store and selling side-by-side with the Ulta team.

· 
Execute, elevate and plan events and master classes.

· 
Actively participate and support cluster trainings including GO (Grand Opening) events.

· 
Manage gondola updates and report display issues.

· 
Follow the Ulta inventory process - partner with Ulta staff to check inventory / out of stock and email concerns to your Area Sales Manager.

· 
Other duties as assigned.

·  Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions.Must have a high school diploma/GED

·  2 years’ experience in coaching, managing and leading sales people
·  Intuitive ability to use iPhone / iPad and knowledge to complete Excel spreadsheets, draft Word documents and function successfully in Internet Explorer and Outlook.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Education/Experience/ Licenses or Certificates:

·  2 year experience applying & selling make-up
·  Valid Driver’s License
·  High School Diploma or Equivalent
·  2 years’ experience in coaching, managing and leading sales people
