KPMG is currently seeking an Associate, Procurement to join our Procurement organization.

Responsibilities:

·  Laisse with various departments (e.g. Legal, Risk, Finance, Brand, IT) to ensure purchases meet firm standards and appropriate internal procedures are followed prior to purchase
·  Work with category teams to ensure purchases adhere to category strategies; maintain documents supporting the transaction in the appropriate repository
·  Work/negotiate with suppliers to ensure quality product, on time delivery, accurate quantity, correct invoicing and resolve discrepancies
·  Support enablement of suppliers on the Ariba P2P platform, support special initiatives/projects as needed and identify areas for process improvements
·  Educate end users on firm policies as needed and answer general inquiries

Qualifications:

·  Minimum of one year of sourcing/purchasing experience
·  High School diploma; Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college and/or university is preferred
·  Highly customer service oriented and excellent written and verbal communication
·  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint
·  Ability to effectively communicate with a vast array of internal customers and negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers
·  Ariba or other procurement applications and/or Purchasing/Corporate Cards experience is preferred
