YOUR ROLE

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Application Technician to support our Contract Logistics business at a position located in Mississauga, ON.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities:

·  Operated a vareity of warehouse applications as skilled front-end user, such as; WMS KPI design and reporting, productivity, operational and KPI databases and time and attendance system.
·  Gather daily/weekly/monthly productivity data, present it to the Operational team.
·  Complete daily/weekly/monthly operational KPI's and provide to customer and operations.
·  Review reports ensuring data integrity and evolution of reports.
·  Create new reports based on internal and external customer needs.
·  Act as a liaison between warehouse employees and IT Superusers.
·  Put in IS/IT tickets and track open and completed items.
·  Follow up and track open items and chair monthly meetings on open items.
·  Track costs related to delayed projects and/or system outages and delays.
·  Map warehousing processes and create improvement objectives based on safety, productivity and quality.
·  Participate in all new customer setup meetings and process mapping.
·  Review IS/SOP and modify to ensure staff has clear instruction.
·  Help in training of new staff as required.
·  Pull data from WMS as needed from the internal and external customer.
·  Investigate internal and external customer questions and provide feedback based on data.
·  Participation in continuous improvement initiatives and track progress within reporting tools.
·  Chair weekly/monthly KNPS meetings to ensure progress is made on projects.
·  Conduct KNPS daily/monthly audits and report to internal customers.
·  Populate action registry with open items and support in completion of targeted items.
·  Track project pipeline and present to internal customer monthly.
·  Ensure all policies and procedures are followed and adhered.
·  Other duties assigned by the company.

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

Qualifications:

·  Previous experience working in warehouse setting.
·  In-depth knowledge and understanding of warehouse management systems.
·  Ability to create process maps and present to both internal and external customer.
·  Able to review data and present findings in a logical manner.
·  Ability to change thought process based on market and both internal and external customer requirements.
·  Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimum supervision based on internal and external customer requirements.
·  Strong time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
·  Intermediate MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel-IF Statements, Macros, Formulas, Pivot tables, Vlookup).
