Job description

• Responsible for all dispatch operations on a day-to-day basis relating to a branch/ region.
• Monitors all orders received from Sea Freight Import and Export, KN Customs and other departments.
• Timely and efficient assignment and dispatching to KN approved truckers
• Daily tracking and tracing at relevant Port or rail terminals
• Verifies where necessary bookings / container pick up numbers , terminal for pick up and empty return
• Liaising with Steamship Lines CN/CP Rail , Port Terminals and Trucking terminals for all resolution as required
• Maintains a healthy rapport with all trucking carriers on a partnership basis
• Cost and Revenue entry of all moves and extra costs approval and entry
• Daily status entry and utilization of KN TMS

Your skills and experience

• Effective verbal and written communication in English and French
• Strong organizational skills and proven ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to details and accuracy
• Strong numerical skills
• Strong negotiation Skills
