Job description
This role is based in Sea freight department, reporting into the Kuehne + Nagel Branch Sea freight Manager.
Your tasks and responsibilities
· The role is working on your own initiative and also being a key player in the sea freight team to offer solutions in a timely and efficient manner to the end customer to ensure all aspects of operation are completed with accuracy and quality.
· To be a positive face on Kuehne+Nagel and to develop excellent relationships with customers.
· The role will ensure that he department operates to “Best in Class” quality standards and in an environment of conscious improvement.
· Follow all Kuehne+Nagel' s sea freight procedures.
· The role is to comply with company health & safety and GDP Pharma Guidelines.
Your skills and experience
· Freight forwarding industry certification. Preferable to have excellent multi modal Freight & Logistics understanding.
· Experience in a similar position in the past and distribution expertise.
· Experienced in updating the tariffs.
· Used to work Maintaining and/or implementing good working practices & procedures to ensure that the department run efficiently and with professionalism.
· Proactive participation and adherence to the company QSHE system.
· Delivering excellence in quality and customer service every time.
· Familiar with managing your performance via Key Performance Indicators as discussed with your manager.
· Pro-actively look for continuous improvement with the department to ultimately provide the customer with an efficient and professional service.
