Want to understand the fast-paced world of Logisitcs? Join our Aston Sea Logistics team on a year long industrial placement.

Your Role

This is a one-year placement starting in September 2021. Our Birmingham branch is KN’s Sea Logistics hub, with many departments operating from here, including Operational Care, Customer Care International Supply Chain, working with large customers such as Amazon and Sainsburys. Due to the wide range of possibilities in this branch, we will work with the successful candidate to identify what your skills are and what you enjoy, and design a placement that will support your growth and development and provide you with an invaluable insight into our Sea Logistics operation.

Your Responsibilities

·  Booking and monitoring shipments
·  Liaising with suppliers and shipping lines
·  Providing a first class customer service to understand their needs and execute as required
·  Learn about a specialised Sea Logistics product or support function
·  Problem solving and data analysis 
·  Support an International Supply Chain project

Your Skills and Experiences

·  A passion for logistics

·  Strong organisational skills and IT skills
