Road Logistics Import Operator

Your Role

You will be responsible for daily import operations in Road Logistics department. We aim to find right solution for our customers to provide high quality services and meet customer requirements. Working in a busy operational department you will take ownership of files end to end. Providing excellent customer service on a daily basis to meet and exceed requirements from operational perspective.

Your Responsibilities

·  Updating and following the situation of the customer orders and reports to the clients.
·  Arranging the coordination and communication with hauliers and third parties as customs brokers, domestic hauliers, customs bonded warehouses,customers contact persons.
·  Doing the daily follow up of the trailers.
·  Preparing and editing files into Kuehne + Nagel Road and sending Avis to the customers.
·  Issueing the commercial freight invoices to the customers and sending the copy of the original documents to the customers customs brokers.
·  Arranging the TIR carnet ,T2 (transit document) registration and informing the customers as well as checking the arriving 3rd party invoices and entering to FSL.
·  Following up the import process.
·  Getting the necessary action about FSL entry which the solid line manager makes him/her reponsible.

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
·  Minimum 2 years of experience in road logistics operations is a must.
·  Ability to be very profit conscious.
·  Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
·  Excellent communication skills.
·  Good analytical skills with attention to detail.
·  Good problem solving and negotiation skills.
·  Good command in both written and spoken English and Turkish.
