Job description
We are seeking a Logistics Engineer with Six Sigma Black Belt experience and/or Green Belt certified to join our growing team to support the West Region!
Your Role
Under the guidance of the Regional Lead KNPS Engineer & National KNPS MBB (Master Black Belt), the delivery of DDVSA and the management and delivery of the project portfolio of these activities and projects relating to this activity on the relevant site location. The Engineer ensures the delivery of KNPS savings and productivity improvements in line with Operational targets at site. The Engineer supports Operations to progress KNPS methodologies including, the development of KNExcellence levels, training and mentorship of LSS YB’s. The Engineer also supports in the delivery and development of productivity management tools (GRIP) within their sphere of influence.
Your Responsibilities
• Responsible and accountable for the CI site project program, including the management of Kaizen activities and Black Belt projects , leading project teams of management and site teams.
• Delivery and management with Operations of the project portfolio’s resulting from DDVSA activity
• Productivity and Quality CI project improvements to a Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt Standard.
• Alignment of projects and CI activity to meet both KNPS Savings targets and Site productivity improvement targets
• Delivery of DDVSA 6 Week programs as agreed with Operations and the KNPS Regional Lead Engineer
• Management of CI Tracker to ensure savings for sites are validated with financial controllers and data integrity is maintained at all times.
• Support to develop productivity management tools (GRIP) within the sites to ensure consistent measurement and monitoring of productivity at process and site level.
• Support operations in the development of KNExcellence levels on site from Green through to Gold (Ownership rests with Operations)
• Working with the Regional Lead Eng & National MBB development of the LSS YB ,identifying and developing key individuals on site
• Training YB’s within their local community
Your Skills and Experiences
Experience :
• Educated to degree standard or the equivalent experience
• Certified Lean Six Sigma BB or relevant Lean experience (Min 3 years) Lean Six Sigma GB (4 Yrs)
• Contract logistics management experience preferred
• Can demonstrate experience as a process improvement delivery specialist
• Has experience in delivering Kaizen or Rapid Improvement activities based on Value Stream Mapping preferred

Technical Abilities
• Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or experienced LSS Green Belt
• Negotiation skills
• Experience in the delivery of lean six sigma and continuous improvement programmes
• Can demonstrate a rounded business acumen including P & L management and budgeting
• Advanced skills in MS office tools including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS project and MS Visio
• An advanced level Minitab user version 14 or above
• CAD Drawing software experience preferred
Other requirements
• Willingness to travel within country
• English written and oral skills preferred
