How do we transport goods via the most efficient routes and yet offer competitive pricing to our customers? Our seafreight export product team are experts in capacity management, resulting in greater time and cost savings for customers in the long term. YOUR ROLE
In this role, you will join the export product team and be responsible for the assigned freight shipment routing instructions, allocation management and rate database. There is a high volume of daily tasks, which is essential to achieve optimal profit.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure capacity management and allocation through effective space booking methods and load factor optimization
· Complete system updates as required to record shipment statusescorrectly
· Complete local rate negotiations
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
To be considered,you must be comfortable working with systems and handling a high volume of daily tasks such as updating the shipment records and data entry. You possess a customer-focused mindset and is keen to develop a career in our industry.
