Our branch in El Paso is searching for an experienced entry writer to handle high volumes of customer requests.
Your Role
The incumbent will be responsible for activities involving transactions with CBP concerning the entry and admissibility of merchandise, its classification and valuation, the payment of duties, taxes, or other charges assessed or collected by CBP on merchandise by reason of its importation, and the refund, rebate, or drawback of those duties, taxes, or other charges.
Your Responsibilities
- Filing of entry via ACE
- Data entry and audit of EDI customer files
- Print and file for document control
- Emit billing for brokerage services
- Data entry of FTZ admissions
Your Skills and Experiences
- At least 3 years relative experience
- Strong customer service skills
- Attention to detail is critical
- Knowledge of domestic and international customs regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication
