This is a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced LGV1 Driver to join our highly motivated and valued team trunking from a flagship distribution depot to breweries and retail outlets.
YOUR ROLE
KN Drinks Logistics is a specialist drinks only service provision - with a client portfolio of internationally recognized brands, it is our mission to create profitable growth by becoming the partner of choice to the Drinks Industry. We have overtime options and a competitive salary with an immediate start driving one of our 68 Plate Scania HGV's. The purpose of the role will be to make safe deliveries to retail / wholesale customers and breweries within agreed timescales, all shift patterns include elements of weekend working.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Conduct full inspection of vehicle including fuelling.
· Safe and efficient handling of vehicle in all respects, including the optimisation of fuel usage, cleanliness of vehicle
· Presenting vehicles for loading when required, that are in a compliant and road worthy condition.
· Ensuring load security and stability, adequately restraining loads in line with processes and procedures.
· Ensure that all delivery procedures are followed in line with Company and Customer procedures; Ensure all Company documentation and equipment is returned to the transport office/depot daily
· Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met within Company and legal frameworks.
· Report vehicle defects and ensure that the defect is documented.
· Comply with Driver's regulations & Working Time Directive in line with the current legalisation and Company procedures; Ensure the Digital Driver Card is carried at all times and that the card is downloaded daily and at least once within the legal 28 day period
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
· Must hold a current LGV licence and Clean Driving License
· Knowledge of the legal requirements applicable European Working Directive and Road Transport Directive
· Excellent communication skills
· Able to use initiative, organise own workload.
· Customer Service

· Flexible – able to work shifts
· Reliable
