YOUR ROLE
Cooltainer New Zealand is a specialist division of Kuehne + Nagel; providing temperature controlled perishable commodities throughout New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific Islands and are committed to providing excellent service. We have a full time opportunity for an experienced individual to handle Export and Import shipments, related documentation and customer service for one of our key clients.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
· Export & Import operations across various trade lanes
· Customer service excellence - one on one interaction with clients
· Ensuring that all timely documentation is completed as per company policy and customer requirements
· Liaising with various external parties - shipping companies, customs and overseas offices
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
· Previous experience and understanding of Shipping and Freight Forwarding process
· New Zealand Customs PIN is preferred though not essential
· High level of attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills to provide a high level of customer service
· Ability to multitask and work to deadlines
· Flexibility to adapt to change in a team environment
· Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite with advanced typing skills
This is a 08:30am - 5:00pm role, Monday - Friday. However, flexibility is required for overtime where necessary.
