Customer Service Representative (Parental Leave Coverage)

The Customer Service Representative is accountable for maintaining excellent service levels for our
internal and external customers through accurate data entry, continuous process
improvement and the prompt resolution of issues.

Responsibilities


·  Respond knowledgably and courteously to incoming calls and customer enquiries;
·  Manage communication with clients, clients customer for customer service and
administration requirements;
·  Manually enter orders accurately into OMS System, validate that order fed into WMS;
·  Must have strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills;
·  Ability to manage high call and business process volumes;
·  Front line communicator to our customers customer;
·  Order Processing: ensure all orders are processed in a timely manner and according to the clients' specific requirements;
·  Document, investigate and resolve all customer concerns in a timely fashion;
·  Drive prompt and professional communication at all times for both internal and external customers;
·  Maintain all Working Instructions, ensure compliance with ISO Quality Management procedures and are updated as required;
·  Assist with dispatch planning / control office;
·  Manage track and trace updates, via electronic monitoring and manual updates;
·  Update internal performance score cards and trends;
·  Prepare client invoices;
·  Provide POD's to consignees and/or customer partners as required;
·  Coordinate details for client KPI and internal performance reviews;
·  Pursue continuous improvement initiatives to drive increased productivity and
service levels;
·  Follow call and business processes outlined in work instructions, working in tandem with customer requirements
·  Other duties as assigned to you from time to time by the company.

Qualifications:

·  Degree/Diploma in International Business, Transportation, Logistics, Customs or a related
field preferred;
·  3-4+ years industry experience in Contract Logistics / 3PL;
·  2-3+ years customer service experience required, additional administrative /data entry experience;
·  Excellent communication in English (verbal and written) and presentation skills;
·  Strong organizational and time management skills required, including the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines;
·  Strong project management and problem solving skills;
·  Proven ability to work well both independently and as part of a team required;
·  Proficient computer and keyboarding skills required(Microsoft Word and Excel);Knowledge of Thoughtspeed system would be considered an asset;
·  Knowledge of order entry systems and warehouse management systems is required;
