Join us as Business Analyst (m/f/d) and become part of a team of doers and thinkers, creatives and organizers in our Integrated Logistics Team Switzerland.

Your Role

As Business Analyst (m/f/d) you´ll be in charge of the client billing and supplier invoice validation process. Furthermore you are the project lead and point of contact for all financial and cost related customer improvements. In this position you will report to the Business Manager Integrated Logistics, with close working relationships across the whole business including the Finance Team, Business Management, Service Implementation and Business Systems Support.

Your Responsibilities

·  Take ownership in communication with internal and external customers and act as a single point of contact for all finance related topics
·  Resolve billing queries by using your knowledge as a subject matter expert to dive into financial results and provide root cause analysis
·  Evaluate actual expenses and clarify deviations with relevant stakeholders
·  Ensure proper month end closure of customer accounts and monitor cash flow by securing in-time payments; correct cost allocation as per customer requirements and accurate billing throughout the entire global billing cycle
·  Prepare financial reports on logistics key indicators (e.g. turnover, volumes, freight expenses and savings) relevant for the business to provide data transparency and support the decision making process
·  Financial risk assessment  on different business and financial results
·  Set and provide enhanced reports and ad hoc information about the order life cycle and supply chain execution to improve decision making capabilities
·  Continuous improvement and customer projects are individually lead

Your Skills and Experiences

·  Professional experience in the field of accounting or logistics; both would be a great advantage 
·  Affinity to systems, numbers and have an analytical mindset - Oracle system knowledge is a distinct advantage
·  High level of MS Office user skills (in particular Excel and Access) and a proven affinity with IT system related activities
·  Process driven, strong organizing skills
·  Customer-centric mindset and team spirit
·  Fluent in English (spoken and written form), additional language skills are an advantage
·  Reliable and autonomous  style of work
