Job description
Mission
The Accountant will manage accounting functions; perform financial management and cost accounting as well as taxation, treasury and credit management.
Key Responsibilities:
· Perform and manage financial accounting, procedures and reporting.
· Manage accounting functions and accounts receivable, collection function and accounts payable activities to insure accurate financial records and information.
· Guarantee a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
· Prepare and perform month-end closings as well as all financial packages which monitor, control and report financial activities and status.
· Ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or IFRS.
· Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other reports.
· Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
· Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.
· Prepares payments by verifying documentation and requesting disbursements.
· Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements.
· Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and government agencies.
· Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Experience
· At least 2+ years' experience in accounting
· Experiences in highly competitive, brand sensitive, service oriented markets.
· Experience within modern commercial organizations, with demanding wholesale and retail business partners.
· A must is given by the presence of a structured approach gained through experience in excellent environments.
Desired Qualifications
· Master's degree in accounting or equivalent.
· Preference to candidates with the CPA or CMA designations.

Ideal Candidate
· Proven track record of results achieved within a structured, multinational environment.
· Knowledge of finance, accounting, tax budgeting, and cost control principles including IFRS.
· Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
· Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, projections.
· Native in local language + fluent in written and oral English.
· Mature personality, self-motivation, positive attitude.
