Position Overview
Leads the development of capabilities of excellence for the Site (people, systems, process and infrastructure) through the implementation and sustainability of standard programs (i.e. lean manufacturing, Six sigma and root cause analysis) in order to support business objectives.
Leads the identification, implementation and sustainability of initiatives that contributes to the innovation, standardization, and competitiveness for the Site, connecting with local, regional and global teams.

Main responsibilities
Lead implementation of programs and initiatives included in the Site OGSM (JJPS/JJOS, ZBB, CIP, Operator Technician Institute, etc.).
Steer the identification, implementation and sustainability of Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Drive the sharing and implementation of proven practices that enhance the local and regional processes.
Develop innovation culture through the implementation and sustainability of local and global initiatives.
Other responsibilities (indicative):
Lead and support Six Sigma projects reinforcing the use of tools and methodologies.
Role modeling of key leadership behaviors to support the culture transformation.

Report to: Make Excellence Leader

Experience Required: Strong Manufacturing background desirable in consumer goods or complex factories and/or manufacturing consulting/engineering.
At least 1 year of experience in Lean manufacturing operations, with minimum Green Belt and desirable Black Belt certification or equivalent.
Strong analytical skill, finance acumen and affinity to understand different IT/production system applications
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and in particular Excel and PowerPoint. Project management knowledge and experience leading and supporting projects.

Professional title required: BS/BA – Business / Engineering / SC required
MBA or other relevant post graduate degree preferred

Language: Advanced English
Portuguese (desirable)
