The Fixed Assets Accountant is responsible for performing all fixed assets transactions and reconciliations for the North America scope supported by Global Finance Services - Asia Pacific (Manila).

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Fixed Assets
·  Maintain CAR
·  Capitalize fixed assets and process asset movements
·  Complete FA postings and depreciation
·  Prepare reports and reconcile accounts for analysis and approval
·  Provide the business with required information for physical inventory and respond to inquiries
·  Ensure book values are reconciled with tax values

Customer Service

·  Deliver service excellence and maximize customer service and satisfaction
·  Develop effective working relationships with key partners (external / internal customers, co-workers)
·  Perform problem tracking and ensure that issues are properly documented, prioritized, tracked, and resolved within the Service Level Agreements (SLA)

Continuous Improvement

·  Find opportunities for process improvement and innovate solutions so that the team can operate in an efficient and cost effective manner

Audit and Compliance

·  Align with J&J related policies and procedures i.e. Worldwide Procedure (WWP), Internal Control Handbook (ICH), global process and any legal and regulatory requirement that J&J is obliged to adhere to

Desired profile

Qualifications

·  Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or finance-related course
·  Certified Public Accountant (CPA) a plus
·  At least 1 year of experience in Fixed Assets
·  Experience in a shared services center of a multinational corporation desirable; onsite process migration experience an advantage
·  Basic to proven knowledge of general accounting concepts, rules and legal requirements
·  Proficiency in basic MS Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word) required; experience with SAP or other ERPs an advantage
·  Willing to work on weekends and Philippine holidays (as needed)
·  Willing to work on graveyard shifts
·  Willing to be assigned in Parañaque City
