In the student position of platform application engineer PAE, you will gain hands on experience, build your knowledge and skill set towards being a technical expert, consultant and a technology trainer. You will work for the Internet Of Things Group IOTG and will be part of a global PAE team working with a charter of providing technical support to Tier 1 customers and representing customer needs across divisions within the company. The position offers a great opportunity to learn new technical skills, build relations within intel and a great exposure to Embedded Industry.

Desired profile

Responsibilities:
The person will support PAE engagements by:
Responding to the customer support queriesCreating test setup around Intel reference design boards to debug customer issuesResolving technical problems and customer issues by debug, research and coordination with others
Qualifications/Experience:
We are looking for a student enrolled in Masters Program, holding a bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer EngineeringAbility to read and analyze schematic and PCB board
Familiarity with board design CAD tools e.g. Cadence, Mentor or Zuken
Familiarity with Linux and Windows OS environment and debugFamiliarity with platform debug-tools, programming tools and measurement equipmentExperience with BIOS and firmware is a plusSW/FW design experience is a plusUnderstanding of system design at an architectural level, preferably Intel Architecture Understanding of x86 PC Boot ProcessAbility to listen, understand and respond professionally to customers
Be able to work independently and take responsibility of the tasksMust be proficient in English language
