Edits, rewrites and authenticates technical user manuals, application papers, product descriptions, data sheets and specification books.

Receives text from technical staff and rewrites documentation in a clear and concise style. Improves editorial and visual standards for documents and recommends new designs, layouts and procedures as needed.

Comprehensive editing: reviews both content for completeness, accuracy, and appropriate language and form for organization, visual design, and usability.

Copyediting: ensures that the document is mechanically correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar and stylistically consistent.

Proofreading: compares the final version of the document with the marked-up version to make sure that all corrections have been made.

Revision control: compares and extracts relevant updates and changes over technical document versions and presents to the technical teams for impact analysis.

Leads and moderates technical requirement analysis with domain experts in engineering

Gathering Marketing- MRD and Product- PRD requirements in close cooperation with Marketing and other division inside the organization

Contributes to documentation review with customers and suppliers Specifications, Datasheet etc.

Publishing of technical articles for internal and external usage

Working closely with international architecture, engineering and development teams in all domains of embedded system for automotive area.

Technical background in Embedded Systems Engineering would be an advantage
Experience in automotive or similar area

Education:
Technical and journalistic education
Excellent written, presentation and communication skills in English
Basic German language skills are of advantage but not mandatory
