As a member of the Global Supply Management team, you will be a full business partner vested in making the GSM Vision and Mission a reality. Through business partnering and innovation, you will help drive sound business analysis and decisions while maintaining Intel's high standards of professionalism and integrity. We have positions available in Portland, Oregon, and Phoenix, Arizona.

Depending on the position, your responsibilities could span many functions within Intel's Supply Chain including:

·  Responsible for converting manufacturing and business requirements into actionable strategies and tactics as they relate to inventory health/optimization streamlined / reliable services, logistics and supplier performance.
·  Coordinates purchasing activities such as generating / managing/ reconciling forecasts and schedules.
·  Monitors the acquisition of materials in support of ramping factories, sustain ing, dispositioning materials for end of life factories.
·  Executes contractual requirements as well as meets with suppliers to discuss performance, cost opportunities, and future operational strategies.
·  Partners with the factories to drive the lowest possible materials and service impact to tool availability.
·  Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to support factory SLA's and quality requirements.
·  Participates in the development and improvement of systems and tools to drive efficiencies across the organization.
·  Works with cross organizational teams to solve problems and drive supply chain solutions.

This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

·  Must have a BS degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or expect the required degree by December of 2018.
·  Must have a legal or permanent right to work in the US without requiring sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

·  Direct Supply Chain experience is a plus
·  Prior Supply Chain Internship
