We are Intel's unmanned aerial vehicles UAV team and we need YOU to make our products fly! Formed by a recent acquisition, we are a small but successful startup within Intel and operate in a highly dynamic and largely independent environment.We are looking for a passionate Intern to grow and become a part in our drone organization.

As an intern you will have a good understanding of robotics ie signal processing and embedded software. Since we are able to operate like a small independent unit within Intel, we offer flat hierarchies, fast decision making and great atmosphere. You will be a part of one of the most exciting trends in the industry, creating products for diverse and highly sought-after solutions.

Responsibilities for this position include:

  • Implementation and design of flight control algorithms
  • Improvement of sensor calibration and data fusion algorithms
  • Improvement of software tools to build continuous integration cycles

Intel Labs, the New Business Initiatives group (NBI), the Perceptual Computing Group and the New Devices Group (NDG). Additionally, New Devices Group and the New Business Initiatives group were combined into the New Business Group (NBG) which nests into NTG.

Desired profile

Qualifications

  • Student working towards a relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Strong skills in MATLAB/Simulink
  • Strong embedded software coding skills in C/C++
  • Interest into drones autopilots
  • Strong language skill in spoken and written English
