The selected candidate will join our Quality Engineering team where they will develop and execute a wide range of tests to ensure the quality of our SSD Firmware Test Automation solutions. These mission-critical solutions play a key role in bringing Intel's leading-edge Solid State Drive and memory technologies to market with superior quality.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Contribute to the creation of detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  • Participate in all aspects of testing, including functional, regression, load/performance, system, and user acceptance testing
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  • Assist in coordinating the release of new features and systems
  • Assist in the development of automation tests scripts for the new features implemented

Non-Volatile Solutions Memory Group: The Non-Volatile Memory Solutions Group is a worldwide organization that delivers NAND flash memory products for use in Solid State Drives (SSDs), portable memory storage devices, digital camera memory cards, and other devices. The group is responsible for NVM technology design and development, complete Solid State Drive (SSD) system hardware and firmware development, as well as wafer and SSD manufacturing.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • This U.S. position is open to U.S. Workers Only. A U.S. Worker is someone who is either a U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, U.S. Lawful Permanent Resident, or a person granted Refugee or Asylum status by the U.S. Government. Intel will not sponsor a foreign national for this position.

Minimum 3 months of experience in the following:

  • Software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  • Troubleshooting
  • Python programming language

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of black box testing
  • Basic knowledge and experience using the Linux operating system
