We are looking for an enthusiastic software developer interested in supporting the development of Intel's latest automotive and transportation products. In this position you will be part of the software organization working in the domain of autonomous driving. Specifically you will be working in the team responsible for the simulation framework which will enable us to test our autonomous driving solution in all possible ways.

Your main task is to design, implement, integrate and test software which is used in the simulation framework. The environment is very complex and spawns over many fascinating fields. Quick learning and good analytic skills are essential to master the system. You can shape the solution together with your team so it can be leveraged in the best possible ways.

Desired profile

Skills to succeed/Requirements:
- BS or higher in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or related field- Software Simulation experience in two or more of:
- Physics modelling
- Monte-Carlo simulation concepts
- Familiarity with Unity 3D or similar and virtual environment engines
- Artificial intelligence and related techniques e.g. applied in video game AI
- Image signal processing
- Sensor Modelling
- Deep learning/Neural networks
- Excellent C/C++ and scripting e.g. Python knowledge
- Track record of simulations in a product development environment
- +3 years experience how to develop, debug, optimize and profile complex and distributed software systems
- Need familiarity with working in large SW projects build system, configuration management, ticket/requirement tracking tools

Skills desired:
- ALM tool experiences: git, Jenkins, Gerrit, Jira / RTC or similar
- Development experience in the automotive domain
- Knowledge of Intel HW and compute cluster concepts and SW
- Embedded / Real-time SW development experience
