ABOUT THE JOB
To reach excellence in daily running of different parts of DC Operations. To maximize efficiencies through strategic logistics planning while adapting to the constantly changing range.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT Your tasks will include:

· Ensure all Systems Logic and Article range data is current and accurate.
· Communicate with external partners (DSRV, Goods-flow & others) to ensure we are prepared for various range & capacity projects and changes.
· Communicate with all levels of the organization regarding issues related to Article Administration, Capacity and Mapping.
· Contribute in the maintaining and development of the DC logistical strategy & Location Mapping together with Operations, Operations Support Management and the Systems team.
· Analyze and adapt to the inbound and outbound development/flow throughout the year. React accordingly to range change or line up demands with the proper location mapping and capacity allocation.
· Act as early warning system, identify possible risks and initiate corrective actions related to
· capacity constraints.
· Maintain and improve the working methods and tools for managing Article/Range administration, mapping, and capacity related functions.
· Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of coworkers and customers .

YOUR PROFILE Your knowledge, skills and experience include:

Knowledge:
· University degree (Logistics, Economics, Information Systems, Mathematics) or equivalent in working experience
· 1+ years of supply chain experience preferred (preferably transport and/or DC operations)
· Advanced proficiency with MS Office.
· Experience with advanced MS Excel.
· Experience with data analysis.
· Experience with SQL is preferred.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills, conflict management skills, and ability to have professional interactions with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders.
· Strong technical and quantitative skills (SAS, SPSS, R) are preferred.
· Expert problem-solving skills, attention to detail, working against deadlines and communicating status of project, with natural curiosity and drive towards understanding the customer order trends.
· Ability to interact with all levels both internal and external to the distribution center
· Customer oriented with good understanding of store needs
· Computer literate with above average knowledge of PC applications
· Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
