What you will do:
·  Function as the guardian of the Scrum Team
·  Support and educate the organization on effective utilization of Scrum tenants and methodology
·  Resolve issues surounding and controlling scrum processes
·  Guide the team and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to optimize service delivery
·  Assess the Scrum Maturity of the team and organization. Then create and implement a plan to coach the organization bringing them to higher levels of maturity. Allow your skills and expertise to shine!
·  Lead the team to remove impediments by finding the right personnel to remove the impediment
·  Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem-solving
·  Facilitate discussions, decision making, conflict resolution as well as accomplishing goals and tasks without coercion, assigning, or dictation
·  Assist with internal and external communication improving transparency and the spread of information
·  Support and educate the Product Owner, especially on grooming and maintaining the product backlog
·  Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

·  Ability to work on site in Jefferson City, MO 5 days a week
·  5+ years of experience working with data warehouses and/or BI (business intelligence projects)
·  3+ years experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory on a large-scale development process
·  Experience working with traditional waterfall SDLC with the ability to effectively blend methodologies
·  Skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
·  Must be self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision

·  Current CSM certification
·  Experience with healthcare, clinical and/or other social service data and organizations
·  Knowledge of other Agile approaches: XP, Kanban, Crystal, FDD, etc.
·  Awareness and experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing, Agile Games
·  Experience in applying a wide variety of well-documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach(example: various Burndown technologies, many Retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
