Job description

The Successful Candidate for the Data Scientist Role will:
⦁ Have a solid foundation in statistics, modeling, operations research, computer science, applications, and math.
⦁ Be able to extract, transform, and combine all incoming data into a repository to discover previously hidden insights.
⦁ Be able to explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources.
⦁ Be able to build and interpret statistical models and recommend methods of applying the model
⦁ Be able to perform "what if" analyses with raw data, questioning existing assumptions and processes
⦁ Be able to communicate informed conclusions and recommendations across an organization's leadership structure.
⦁ Be quantitatively adept with accompanying business skills.
⦁ Analyze and choose problems that have the most value to the organization.
⦁ Effectively deploy analytics solutions to realize business value.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
⦁ At least 3 years' experience as a Data Scientist or Consultant
⦁ At least 3 years' experience with all MS Office Products including Excel
⦁ At least 3 years Healthcare Domain Experience
⦁ Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline
⦁ Experience with advanced statistical software such as SAS or SPSS
⦁ Experience with one or more Computer Languages, Python and R preferred
⦁ SQL Language experience
⦁ Database experience
⦁ Data Warehousing Experience
⦁ Visualization Packages, Tableau preferred
