This specialty performs the role of System Database Administrator within the Oracle, DB2, MySQL environment.
This role is performed by technical professionals responsible for construction of physical and technical aspects of database systems. Responsibilities for this job role include, but are not limited to, installation and maintenance of the database system, installation of upgrades and patches and security compliance. Potential interaction with clients (internal or external) in order to understand and meet requirements for the delivery of services related to database products. The employee guides functional objectives or technologies.

·  Demonstrated knowledge in Oracle installation and configuration, including RAC setup
·  Experience in Oracle administration on Linux, UNIX environments
·  Demonstrated knowledge in Linux, UNIX environments

·  Experience in sizing or designing the Oracle databases
