Security Engineer for IBM Systems Z (m/w)

Job description

  IBM is currently hiring a Security Engineer for the IBM Z as a Service organisation. Be part of the IBM Z as a Service strategy. IBM Z as a Service is a new set of offerings built on the IBM Secure Service Container and LinuxONE providing high security standards to customers for whom a data breech would threaten their very existence. We seek to go beyond current compliance and offer a higher level of protection from both outsider and insider threats.
Our team is working on software solutions which enhance the security of the IBM Cloud enabling our clients over multiple industries (e.g. Financial, Manufacturing, Insurance, and more) to meet their on-demand IT needs for the solutions they are building.
You will be working with a growing team dedicated to build the best solutions in the market by setting the client to the center. You will join and strengthen our security team to ensure and enhance the security of IBM Z as a Service offerings.

Responsibilities include:
Review the IBM Z as a Service with a security focus and be part of the secure engineering team to ensure and enhance the security of IBM Z as a Service offerings.
Establish penetration testing and white box testing for our offerings.
Lead investigations with other developers to detect and drive resolution of security related issues that may arise.
Establish a common automated security test framework across all offerings.
Security-focused design reviews.
Ensure the security compliance readiness of our products.
Prepare and support security compliance audits of our products.
Leverage IBM as a global company to achieve local business objectives.
