The Application Development team is responsible for supporting the full life cycle of enhancements. As an Application Developer the responsibilities include –

·  Highly experienced in Insurance domain technical skill
·  Provide technical support to client and advises offshore team on the compliance aspects to provided support to IBM’s client and Participate in client meetings to communicate status or give demos
·  Sound knowledge on the IBM client’s processes , possesses niche skill sets in Life 400 application which will help de-risk the outcomes project in terms of delivery, hence can Assist in creating solutions for client and/or internal review
·  Strong technical skills in Insurance and Java, and good knowledge in orion functional work flow. Also he will coordinate with IBM’s client Business users and IT, Life400 & other teams to finalize requirement and solution.
·  Abide by team coding standards, development processes and best practices To ensure success in the role the resource possess the following skills –
·  Experience with an OO programming language e.g. Java, C#, Ruby, Python, PHP, Javascript, etc Skills/Programming Language: Java/J2EE, WebSphere Portal Server, Angular JS, Node JS, JavaScript, JQuery, Total 10 years of experience in above technologies
·  Understanding of design patterns Design Patter: FAÇADE, Abstract Factory, Singleton
·  Experience with relational databases: Oracle, DB2 and MySql
·  Strong written and verbal communications: Yes
·  Solid skills in CSS, HTML, jQuery: Yes, 3 Years of project experience in these technologies
·  Experience in mobile development (iOS or Android) a nice-to-have: Yes, 2 years backend support experience in Mobile application.
·  Salesforce exposure a nice-to-have: No, Salesforce experience Compensation package from $78 540 (full-time equivalent inclusive of superannuation) and will be determined based on successful candidates relevant skills and experience.
