The IBM Cloud Garage is a new and innovative approach to driving customer application development success on the IBM Cloud platform at an accelerated pace. The Cloud Garage is a very different environment that is located in a start-up community. It is an open work environment with latest technologies, unconventional work spaces and lots of techie & networking events.
We are bringing clients into the Garage to rapidly develop minimal viable products using IBM Design Thinking to get the product definition correct and adopting agile practices for developing the apps and scaling into production. Our clients choose the IBM Cloud platform as they are looking for innovation and agility in how apps are defined, designed, and developed.

A unique opportunity to work in a dynamic team, connecting with IBMers based all over Australia and New Zealand. This internship provides valuable insights across a variety of areas and professions – UX Design, Solution Architects, Development, Sales and Delivery across industries and with a focus on enabling clients on the IBM Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
You will work with the Garage Experience Lead and Engagement Manager supporting key aspects of running the IBM Cloud Garage business:
· Assisting with business development activities to grow sales pipeline
· Supporting client visits and other Garage events
· Helping develop client proposals
· Assisting with organisation of activities with the start-up ecosystem
· Helping to manage cost and revenue forecasts
· Helping to develop and process client contracts (e.g. statements of work)
· Helping to manage project and program delivery
Selection Criteria
· Final year of a Business or Business and IT University course
· Well-developed analytical and research skills
· Well-developed interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
· Ability to work as an effective team member
· Interest in practical experience running a small business
· A commitment to professional learning and self-development

· You have are enrolled at an Australia or New Zealand University
· You have no more than 2 years (full time) relevant work experience
