Because we are looking for a Cluster Sales Manager for our 2 Amsterdam Hotels!

What will you be doing?
• Soliciting accounts that provide individual transient global, local and consortia business that ensures maximization of revenue and achievement of the hotel's fair share within the marketplace to meet/exceed revenue goals;
• Soliciting new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals. This will consist of telephone solicitation, outside sales calls, site inspections, and entertainment;
• Preparing correspondence to customers, internal booking reports and file maintenance;
• Participation in Daily Business Review Meeting, training and other sales related meetings;
• Working with other departments within the hotel to provide quality service to customers;
• Attend trade shows, community events and industry meetings;
• Develop/maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers;
• Assist with reports and/or competition data collection.

Qualifications :

About YOU:
• You have a Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent experience in the relevant field;
• You already have 2-4 years of Sales experience working, ideally in a similar position within the Hospitality Industry;
• You are a fun, loving and energizing person;
• You have experience with Opera, Lanyon, Travel Click Business 360 Reports, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel;
• You have a strong understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts;
• You're sales approach is proactive, assertive and fast paced, driven to succeed.
• You understand the market segment, competitors' strengths, weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand.
• You have the ability to communicate effective with clients and colleagues, in English and Dutch;
• Preferably, you have completed some selling/negotiating/business writing & presentations skill training;
• You do not back away from all sales related administrative tasks, projects and responsibilities;
• You are ready to represent Hyatt and our 2 Amsterdam properties – Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht and Hyatt Regency Amsterdam – capturing and allocating business in the best way;
• You are already holding a valid working permit for the Netherlands / EU or EEA passport.
