In this role, you will:
The Network Planner is responsible for leading, shaping, developing and maintaining the country's Retail Programme from a Corporate Real Estate (CRE) perspective, which defines the target state for the Branch network and the actions required to get there. The role holder is accountable for ensuring the Programme aligns to HSBC's key strategic drivers, the business objectives of Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM) and Commercial Banking (CMB) and CRE's purpose and priorities. The role holder will report into the Country Head of CRE and would not have any direct reports.

Key tasks will include the following:
• To deliver each project within the Programme, leveraging the wider CRE team, outsource partners and key stakeholders
• Provide proactive advice to RBWM and CMB on ways in which CRE can support their business through good understanding of the retail network and how it works, latest initiatives and likely impact on CRE services
• Work with Estates, Capital Projects and CRE Finance functions in-country (and Regional Portfolio, Transactions and Estates lead) to drive consistent and integrated project activity/financial performance reporting for RBWM/CMB in the development and implementation of strategic Branch Formats and networks
• Ensure alignment of partner organisations in the execution and reporting of branch network property actions, including the development of "future views" of likely retail rental rates, capital project costs, execution risks for given actions and other network performance metrics
• With support from the CRE Global Network team, add value to the Retail and Commercial Banks by providing proactive consultancy and expertise in CRE across all disciplines; apply CRE concepts and solutions to RBWM/CMB teams to help drive further efficiencies in the network
• Work with CRE's Global Retail Network Team (and Portfolio, Transactions and Estates lead) to align both CRE and RBWM global objectives with country realities (opportunities and constraints from a real estate perspective).
