About the Entry Level Customer Project Manager

HPE Pointnext Global Shared Delivery (GSD) is currently looking for highly qualified and motivated candidates for a position as an Entry Level Customer Project Manager. Position will be based in one of the following cities. No relocation assistance available.

·  Bellevue, WA
·  Colorado Springs, CO
·  Roseville, CA

As the Entry Level Customer Project Manager, you will lead customer engagement to ensure that it meets all scope, time, budget and quality expectations, through planning, controlling and managing customer projects. You will also manage corporate, customer and third-party vendor efforts to plan, sell and implement solutions to customer problems. Successful candidates will employ industry recognized and industry standard project management methodologies and processes.

You’ll have the opportunity to work on the products we deliver and support, while gaining experience as an Entry Level Customer Project Manager, which can lead to future careers within HPE.

Responsibilities

As the Entry Level Project Manager, you will:

·  manage customer project delivery
·  monitor project revenue as detailed
·  handle small to medium projects which are fairly straightforward and local in scope
·  manage low-risk, straightforward legal and commercial issues
·  manage project financials including P&L
·  provides reliable financial forecasts to your leadership
·  identify and develop new opportunities on current project(s)
·  support qualification and opportunity assessment for small straightforward opportunities
·  acts as opportunity manager for low-risk deals
·  manage first- to mid-level client delivery relationships
·  frequently represent the organization to external customers/clients
·  manage internal as well as external resources
·  encourage skill development of other project team members
·  provide performance feedback for team members
·  perform other duties as needed or assigned

Education and Experience Required

·  Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree, or compensating experience (see below)
·  3+ years’ experience in project management, in enterprise technical disciplines preferred
·  Without a Bachelor’s (or higher level) degree, and additional year of relevant experience for a total of 4+ years

Knowledge and Skills Required

·  Demonstrated basic knowledge of key operational policies, processes and methodologies applicable to project management
·  Skilled in Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint
·  Self-directed and independent
·  Adaptable, flexible, organized and detail-oriented
·  Client facing experience
·  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
·  Strong analytical and problem solving skills
·  Superior customer service skills
·  Strong collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders
