Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a Systems/Software Engineer to work in the Houston, TX office.  This individual will prepare HPE’s new products for the Beta Customer Evaluation Program, configure both H/W and S/W options, as well as, tests Beta Customer evaluation systems prior to shipping to customers for their evaluations and provide ongoing technical support to customer requests during the beta evaluation period.

Responsibilities:

·  Configure systems for use in our Beta Customer Evaluation Program.
·  Ensure systems are functioning and tested prior to shipment to customers who will be evaluating them.
·  Provide ongoing technical engineering support throughout the beta evaluation period.
·  Partner with R&D and Marketing teams for program and customer requirements.
·  Collaborate with other internal team members and communicating customer provided feedback to them on evaluation experiences.
·  Drive improvements into current and future design

Education and Experience:

·  Bachelor's degree in or Computer Engineering or equivalent( within the last 12 months).
·  Minimum 0-1 years experience in a technical support environment.
·  Experience with hardware technology.
·  Ability to solve technical issues on HPE’s Servers and products.
·  Ability to apply analytical and problem solving skills.
·  Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
·  Ability to efficiently facilitate cross-team deliverables.
·  Strong written and verbal communication skills
