The Operations department is responsible for the performance and execution of chemical management programs. These programs provide engineering support, logistics, environmental support, customer service, continuous improvement, trouble-shooting, and general account management. Operations department assists in the pursuit and attainment of new business and champion's implementation of new clients. Actively involved in all aspects of financial performance.

Please note that this position is located at a vendor site for Henkel Chemical Management in Bedford, Indiana.

What we offer

· Provide leadership and coaching to direct the activities of the site team
· Fulfill all contractual obligations (cost savings, delivery, quality, reporting, etc.) for a given site location
· Manage and/or assist in new client ramp-ups
· Primary liaison with client site personnel
· Champion and delegate site continuous improvement projects
· Provide support to client users, ordering group, EHS (Environmental Health and Safety), and Purchasing
· Manage and direct all tier two suppliers and their on-site representatives.
· Henkel Technologies communication link and technical resource for customer
· Promote Henkel Technologies chemical sales beneficial to the customer

Key Job Responsibilities Leadership and Coaching:

· Specify performance expectations and provide feedback and coaching for the site team.
· Manage and direct the activities of Site personnel to ensure the achievement of established goals and objectives.
· Subordinate goals determined jointly with Program Manager.
· Leads, directs, and coaches Site personnel in their career growth within Henkel.
· Receives direction and counsel from Program Manager.

Client Account Management:

· Must develop and maintain strong rapport with client personnel.
· Provide day-to-day customer service, trouble-shooting, and various client team meetings and projects.
· Requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to interpret, understand, and assess verbal and nonverbal communication. Face-to-face, phone, and written customer interaction.
· Scope management. Ensure the scope of the program is met and kept within the boundaries of the scope.
· Assist Program Manager with contract set up and negotiations.
· Develop an operations manual for the program.
· Develop and track Key Process Indicators for the program and customer.
· Assist Program Manager with program expansion and new business development.
· Receives guidance and direction from Program Manager, but largely self-directed in most aspects of this function.

Continuous Improvement Initiatives:

· Champion the identification and implementation of cost savings opportunities on the client's behalf. Continual process improvement.
· Document projects and report continuous improvement.
· Involvement in all chemical related processes. Meeting involvement and technical support.

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Bachelor degree in Engineering, Operations, Chemistry, or related field
·  Two+ years of supervisory experience with proven track record of team achievements
·  Training and/or experience in negotiating skills
·  Two+ years experience in a manufacturing environment (engineering, technical sales, management)
·  Good interpersonal, communications, and documentation skills.
·  Proficient in standard Windows software (spreadsheet, word processing, graphics) and cursory understanding of mainframe systems
