The R&D team in Henkel Beauty Care Mexico is responsible to provide all the technical support to the operations and business in terms of product developments, maintenance, and improvement, managing all related to ingredients, formulations, processes, packaging, regulatory and safety, focusing on four main pillars: 1. business continuity, through continuous technical support to operations and business, 2. business growth, through new developments and products improvements, 3. consumer focus, through generation and support of communications, claims, demos, etc., 4. profitability improvement, through cost optimization initiatives, aiming always to contribute to achieve business targets.

The R&D Intern is responsible to support the team in the activities related to the execution of the initiatives and projects of ingredients/formulations, manufacturing, packaging and regulatory, such as evaluation of new raw and pack materials, lab/ind trials, stability / compatibility tests, execution and follow up on the technical qualification plans with the contract manufacturers, generation of the technical/regulatory documentation needed. Is also responsible to support on the daily activities related to the execution and follow up on the projects such as generation of project documentation, samples shipments, and continuous contact with internal and external stakeholders.

·  The R&D Intern should be student of the last semesters, or college intern ideally, of any Engineering-Chemical-Biological career, such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar. Desirable should have some previous professional experience within the consumer goods/chemical industry, ideally within the beauty-cosmetic/personal care industry. Should have a technical profile, analytical, focused on solutions and results, proactive, collaborative and good in team working. Should have time availability and ideally living as close as possible to Nattura Labs facilities.
