Our team "Measuring Sustainability" establishes the system for measuring the environmental footprint along the life cycle of all Henkel products. With this system, Henkel takes the lead in measuring the environmental impact of a whole business. It will be at the core of measuring our progress towards "Factor 3" - tripling the value over footprint - Henkel´s ambitious target for 2030. State-of-the-art methods and procedures are developed and used conducting these tasks. We are offering a position for a new colleague to contribute to our challenge in "Measuring Sustainability."

What we offer

· Performing and implementing methods for quantitative sustainability analytics
· Data-analytics and modeling for the entire value chain (cradle-to-grave)
· Product-based life cycle assessments and corporate footprint assessments
· Design and implementation of digital business intelligence tools to support strategy development and KPI-tracking
· Aligning process requirements for quantitative sustainability analytics with the business
· Interpretation of results regarding business-relevance and presentation to stakeholders
· Support for external projects and interaction with business partners (e.g. suppliers)

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Scientist with an academic degree and good working knowledge of structural organic chemistry
·  2-5 years of work experience in data/modeling/simulation driven sciences or doctoral degree in a comparable field
·  In-depth practical experience (>1 year) in at least one programming language
·  Hands-on knowledge of databases and further IT knowledge would be a plus
·  Experience in analyzing and visualizing complex data
·  Ability to work autonomously and proactively and conduct research
·  Willingness to learn and try new ways
·  Team-player and good interpersonal skills
·  Good working knowledge of English and German
