Within the business unit of General Industry the functional coatings PD chemist (m/f) will be responsible for the development of our industrial autodeposition coatings. This technology is a major part of our key strategic initiative within AGF. The position will be in cooperation within the global PD and innovation community and in close contact with the whole business team.

What we offer

· Visting most important customers to get process knowledge
· Planning and performing self empolyed lab test series to improve products or processes
· Screening raw materials to improve product properties also in close cooperation with customers and raw material suppliers
· Working within an international PD Team with close contacts to customers, suppliers, sales, TCS and production

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  Completed education as paint chemist or laboratory technician
·  Min.3 years experience in paint or polymer development, ideally comprising formulation of anticorrosive primers, waterbased products and functional coating
·  Decent know how in paint or organic chemistry
·  Experience in synthesis of waterbased polymer emulsions
·  Fluency in English
·  Willingness to travel
