What we offer
· Global responsibility for Road and Rail Freight services in collaboration with the Global Category Team Lead
· Development of middle and long term strategies to the best leverage of the global supply base
· Definition and management of the supplier portfolio as well as establishment of the new strategic supplier relationships
· Maintenance and documentation of the industry insights and innovations from the Transportation Market
· Project management of globally steered sourcing activities
· Cooperation with Supply Chain Teams of the business units in order to identify projects leading to cost reduction and service improvement
· Management of the global net price development for respective baskets
Desired profile
Qualifications :
Who we are looking for
· University, preferably Master's degree, in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or Logistics
· At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics Industry and Purchasing
· Knowledge of the logistics markets including supply base, general industry information, good purchasing practices and law
· Excellent communication skills with influencing and convincing abilities
· Project management knowledge and team player attitude
· Analytical thinking and conceptual skills desirable
· Working proficiency in English is required; other language is an advantage
· Experience with Advanced Sourcing Tools and Transport Management Systems
