The Global Business Development Manager Aerospace (m/f) will work closely with Sales and will be responsible for the execution of strategy and sales support for Henkel's Interiors Adhesives business. It's preferred to have this position based in Düsseldorf, Germany.

What we offer

· Implement global strategy & go-to-market plan and support sales force to sell targeted technology or application
· Identify and drive development of target segments/customers in Aerospace Interiors Industry
· Support market and competitive intelligence
· Build relationships (internal/external) with key decision makers/influencers, research customer needs, coordinate Henkel resources meeting customer requirements
· Manage, document and present value-added solutions that meet customer requirements to key decision makers/influencers
· Work with Sales & Technical Customer Service to target and visit customers on customer roadmaps for targeted technology/application
· Secure industry specifications or approvals for targeted technology/application
· Secure specific customer specifications and approvals for targeted technology/applications and conduct group selling and promotional activity with Sales for these targets
· Conduct line trials, support Design of Experiments (DOE) with Technical Customer Service to support customer approval process with/for Sales

Desired profile

Qualifications :

Who we are looking for

·  University degree in technical or business field required, MBA preferred
·  5+ years experience in a business development or related technical position in Engineering or Chemistry
·  2+ years of experience in Aerospace or structural adhesives strongly preferred
·  Entrepreneurial mindset
·  Fluent English, additional European languages advantageous
·  Excellent presentation/communication, leadership, project managing and team building skills
·  Superior negotiation skills
·  MS Office skills
·  Willingness to travel 50%
