Paid Media Manager (Maternity Cover)





We are recruiting for a Paid Media Manager, overseeing
our media strategy and managing a team of two. Are you an entrepreneurial media
expert who has a creative and commercial mindset, and is ready for a challenge?
If so, then you could be the Maternity Cover for our Paid Media Manager!




As the Paid Media Manager you will be responsible for:




·       Planning,
implementation and follow-up of the local media strategy


·       Successful
implementation of global marketing campaigns across all bought media


·       Key
contact and responsible for the local media agency relationship


·       Oversee
local media strategy, working hand-in-hand with all Marketing Concept Managers
and wider Sales team


·       Sign
off media strategy with Marketing Manager


·       Identify
new opportunities within media


·       Communicate
clearly with PR department on media strategy and potential opportunities


·       Follow
up and report on KPI’s and objectives brand recognition, TOM, brand awareness
and brand linkage


·       Work
with Marketing Manager and HQ on media cost saving targets and agency bonus
evaluation


·       Support
short term activities according to local selling situation


·       Identify
local communication potential




Manage Media Budget:




·       Set
and manage annual media budget to ensure that H&M is securing the most
efficient media planning according to budget and follow up monthly to ensure
activity is delivered


·       Apply
insights and data (internal and external) to decision making


·       Sign
off and report to Marketing Manager on budgets


·       Liaise
with regional head office (based in Stockholm, Sweden) on guidelines, budget
and recommendations


·       Plan
and forecast budgets for revisions and following financial year


·       Review
and process all H&M invoices




Reporting into the Head of Marketing, the Paid Media
Manager will manage the Paid Media team, according to H&M values and
Leadership Expectations:




·       Inspire
and lead local Paid Media team to plan, secure and direct centrally and locally
planned activities in order to deliver business objectives and support both the
short and long-term Marketing Goals in the UK & IE


·       Ensure
staff assessment & development according to the contribution matrix


·       Establish
and follow-up on trainings, identifying individual and group training needs


·       Secure
all succession planning and recruitment for the team


·       Ensure
that all employee relation responsibilities are fulfilled




Do you have?




·       Marketing,
communication or business degree/relevant qualifications


·       Minimum
5 years experience from media agency background or media experience within a
fashion retail background


·       Proven
leadership experience


·       Have
great knowledge in both traditional and new media landscape


·       Excellent
digital knowledge, and a thorough understanding of future digital trends


·       A
fashion background/deep interest and knowledge of fashion


·       Entrepreneurial;
ability to drive forward goals independently


·       Required
to manage their own priorities and set their own and their team’s work
objectives


·       Self-motivated
and able to work independently as well as a team player


·       Excellent
communication and social skills and a high level of English, both spoken and
written


·       Poses
excellent organisation and administration skills and fluent in Microsoft office
- Word, Powerpoint and Excel


·       Work
well under pressure and a confident decision-maker


·       Strategically
minded, analytical and creative and a doer, flexible and detail-oriented
