Essential Responsibilities

·  Preparation and analysis of VAT returns through SAP VAT report on a
monthly /bi-monthly/ quarterly basis

·  Preparing standard Intrastat, EU Sales reports + country specific other VAT related
reports if required

·  Ensure to be compliant with country specific rules and obligations, meet the deadlines
for all reports

·  Perform reconciliations between the VAT + Intrastat / EU sale reports

·  VAT liquidation process, VAT clearing postings;

·  Monthly preparation of account reconciliations for the whole range of VAT accounts

·  Quarterly detailed account reconciliations in corporate account reconciliations tool;

·  Follow up with customer care / accounts payable team on erroneous account receivable
/payable entries

·  Interaction with local VAT expert team in any technical questions

·  Cooperation with other functions and provide support in the area of VAT

·  Answer to any other VAT related queries
Qualifications/Requirements

·  Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration

·  or Certified accountant degree;

·  experience in accounting preferably with experience on VAT

·  Understanding of basic VAT obligations and regulations

·  Strong analytical skills;

·  Advanced excel user - especially the use of pivot tables & look up functionality

·  Working proficiency in English

·  Good communication and influencing skills;

·  Open personality with a proactive approach to adopt changes

·  SAP knowledge
