Role Summary/Purpose

Responsible for executing statutory book of record oversight and technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls processes. Deliver accurate actual statutory financial reporting and analysis according with local regulation rules applicable in the country. , more independence in problem solving and decision making, experience with external audits processes and local reporting to local government agencies or central bank.
Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for setting policy through interpretation of US GAAP and compliance with GE policy to translate to local statutory financials, provides technical support to the finance and operations community for all GE business segments under Global Operations scope, drives accounting compliance with the operations teams. Responsible for the application of IFRS standards and local statutory standards. developed interpersonal skills to handle mid complex accounting situations. Focus on team and department priorities within operating unit. Drive and support statutory audits along with local reporting to local government agencies, deep understanding of country requirements for recurrent and on demand deliverables.
Qualifications/Requirements

Accountant or Finance Bachelor's or equivalent degree from an accredited university or college minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Accounting, Audit or Technical Controllership.
