Essential Responsibilities

Responsible for testing a component, feature and or feature set. Work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. Contribute to quality engineering discussions. Own medium-sized quality engineering tasks; and delivers while mentoring and helping team members. Make technology choices at individual level and has ability to analyze impact. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, Refactoring and Testing Techniques. Define and develop automation framework and automation test case code. Be an expert in core data structures and algorithms. Integrate project testing with continuous-integration process. Work with fellow team members to diagnose bugs and formulate solutions. Provide expertise in the quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project. Develop and execute maintainable automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases.
Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors [Science, Technology, Engineering (any) and Math] and five (5) years of progressively responsible post-Bachelor’s degree experience in related occupation required. The position also requires 5 years of experience in the industry developing automated test solutions; 5 years experience applying principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Refactoring and Testing Techniques; 3 years experience with C#; 5 years of experience in software development/testing, or 5 years experience in nursing/Radiology including experience working with hospital IT projects.
