Role Summary/Purpose
As a member of the Quality Department, the NDT Level III serves as the primary point of contact with operations, engineering and our customers for the X-Ray NDT functional area. We are seeking a highly motivated, hands-on leader to provide leadership to our X-Ray NDT department in our advanced aerospace facility located in Rutland, Vermont.
Essential Responsibilities
Train and oversee the certification of site Level Is and Level IIs in the respective NDT area and recertify them as required; maintain all necessary training and certification documentation. Establish NDT techniques, standards and specificiations, and prepare written procedures. Assist manufacturing, engineering and quality with continuous improvement and cost reduction activities as they relate to the respective NDT area. Conduct periodic systems audits as required by the internal quality requirement. Execute and document process control checks. Inspects production parts. Interacts with Level II inspectors regarding production disposition. Provides input on NDT Technician performance reviews. Communicates with Engineering regarding production problems. Reviews rework and scrap parts. Interacts with customers and engineering personnel to review existing, develop new or improved processes, as required. Leads facility audits (ISO, internal). Demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals. Has the experience or expertise to solve problems. Ability to develop and execute objectives for self and others.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in digital X-ray). Minimum of 3 years of experience in NDT Digital Radiography Level II.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Previous experience/certification in UT/PT desired.
