Role Summary/Purpose
In this role he will be responsible for leading and driving all aspects of quality related to the Wunstorf site to include: Sourcing, Manufacturing, Services and Engineering related processes and issue resolution. The Quality Engineer will report directly to the Radiography Quality Leader.
Essential Responsibilities
· Drive continuous cross functional efforts to improve key site metrics: Productivity, Manufacturing Defects, Rework, Cost of Quality and quality project identification and support
· Establish, monitor, and drive improvements for Site and Radiography quality goals including corrective and preventive action (CA) system, Cost of Quality (CoQ), on-time delivery (OTD), continuous improvement (CI), technical Regulations and Standards (TRS) compliance
· Drive Quality projects and other relevant metrics for the site on a daily base
· Work closely with the site leadership and Supply chain functions to drive quality and LEAN programs and culture
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science or equivalent knowledge
· Good experience in an Quality engineering position
· Strong organizational, analytical, project and problem-solving skills
· Hands on mentality
· Lean Six Sigma experience
