Role Summary/Purpose

As Autotest Developer you will be responsible for testing a feature and or a small feature set. You will contribute to the team and work with management; You will work in team as well as individually on demand. Your daily work will involve problem decomposition, estimating time for software quality related tasks, delivers testing and use case creation meeting standards.
Essential Responsibilities

• Understand the team level backlog based on objectives and strong co-operation with GE Product Management 
• Intensively collaborate within & outside the Scrum Teams, with special attention to GE Test Architect to establish required test coverage on the appropriate levels of the Test Pyramid 
• Write E2E test scenarios in Gherkin language based on the system requirement specification and System Integration test scenarios in Gherkin language based on the REST API description 
• Develop System Integration tests (in JAVA) and End-to-end tests (in TypeScript) 
• Handover work products to acceptance according to Sprint cycles, meeting acceptance criteria

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or equivalent work experience 
• We use Sonar, Git/GitHub, SQL, HTML, CSS, Scripting languages (Java Script, Typescript), Selenium grid, Protractor, JBehave/Serenity, Cucumber, Java SE, RESTful web services 
• Experienced in end-to-end and/or system integration test automation
