Role Summary/Purpose
The Project Manager, Engineering Service & Quality Program leads projects developing and implementing innovative solutions to bring down the cost of poor quality and/or supporting our field service business.
Essential Responsibilities
As the Project Manager, Engineering Service & Quality Program, you will:
· Work closely with internals and/or external suppliers of new material / process technologies for field repairs
· Develop the methods, execute the design verification of the methods, and validate in close cooperation with LM service and customers
· Ensure repair solutions bring the needed competitiveness in terms of cost and robustness for uptower repairs
· Drive down field repair costs for warranty projects by developing repair solutions enabling up tower and hence cost effective repairs
· Screen market of field repair solutions, enabling the right strategical decisions are taken on repair technology development in LM
· Lead development project on field repair solutions from idea initiation to final implementation in field, in which the outcome should be cost efficient solutions both in terms of repair cost and LCOE for the customer
Qualifications/Requirements
· Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited university or college
· Minimum of 3 years of project management experience with relevant technical background
